2009 is a year of reflection and revisions for the Rendezvous staff. We may schedule one event towards the end of 2009.

We will definitely be posting a 2010 event schedule once site negotiations have been completed.

Missing an event and don't want to miss out on XP?

Our players asked for it, so here you go. If you are unable to attend an event, but don't want to lose the chance to add Experience Points (XP) to your character, you may now donate $30 and receive the full XP award your character would have gained had you been able to attend the event. Scroll down to click on the PayPal link for this payment option.

This program is also open to any new player (or any player under 80 XP) who would like for their character to gain an extra XP award. After discussion with several of our regular players to ensure they thought this was a fair idea, the staff decided that new players may donate and receive an extra XP award for up to four events. However, to preserve game balance, one extra XP award will be granted per visit until the limit of four has been reached.

Example: New Player discovers Rendezvous and wants to take advantage of the above program. New Player attends and pays their donation for the event ($40 or $45) and for the extra XP event ($30). New player receives the full XP award for the event s/he attended plus an additional full XP award for the bonus XP event. New player attends their second event, pays the donations, etc. Even if the new player payed for the full 4 bonus events in advance, only one bonus XP event award is granted per visit. So, the new player would end up attending the 2nd event and receive 2nd extra XP award... 3rd event, 3rd extra XP award, 4th event, the final extra XP award.

Below are directions to sites we've previously used. We are currently negotiating with another possible site. If negotiations are successful, we'll share those directions as soon as we get them.

Directions to Cochran Mill Campgrounds:

Take I-285 toward I-85 south
Take exit 62 for GA-14-SPUR/Old National Hwy/GA-279 toward S Fulton Pkwy
Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Montgomery/Roosevelt Hwy/I-85 S
Slight left at GA-14-SPUR W (signs for GA-14-SPUR/S Fulton Pwy)
Continue on S Fulton Hwy
Continue on S Fulton Pkwy
Turn right at Cochran Mill Rd
Park's on the left after you cross a bridge.

Follow gravel road to your left. You will need to ford a small creek.

Directions to Hard Labor Creek GA State Park:

This park is East of Atlanta and West of Augusta off of I-20.

Take I-20 exit #105 into Rutledge and follow the signs to Hard Labor Creek State Park. (There will be a T intersection that you will turn left onto and then an immediate right over the railroad tracks. This road will lead you straight into the Park.)

Camp Daniel Morgan is the first camp on the right. If you get to Camp Rutledge you've gone too far... unless that's the site the event is at that weekend.
